Internship
Internship
What is Merdeka Internship?
It is one of the policies introduced by the Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makariem. One of the programs under the Freedom to Learn – Merdeka Campus policy is the right to study for up to three semesters outside the student’s study program.
Off-campus learning activities include internships/work placements in industries or other workplaces, community service projects in villages, teaching in educational institutions, student exchange programs, research activities, entrepreneurial initiatives, and more.
Merdeka Campus learning provides both challenges and opportunities for developing students’ innovation, creativity, capacity, character, and personal needs, as well as fostering independence.
Merdeka Internship at KPPU
The Merdeka Campus internship program at KPPU is intended for university students and lecturers with an interest in competition law and policy, as well as in KPPU as an institution.
For Students, this internship serves as a learning platform to understand competition law and policy. Internship credit (SKS) is managed by the student’s home university. Admission is based on a selection process evaluating submitted internship proposals.
For Lecturers/Instructors, the program takes the form of collaborative research partnerships. Lecturers applying for the internship must submit a research proposal on competition law and policy from various academic perspectives.
How Does the Internship Work?
